completely irrelevant and wholly unrelated to Mother's Day!

potion in a bottle!!!

Now, to say this has a "cult" following would

most likely be an UNDERstatement

This potion is a gift of the GODS!

What it is: A base for eye make-up to help

staying power *tried and true, this stuff will keep

your eye make-up on ALL day, even those with oily

lids!*

Why should I buy this magic potion?: Because your

eye shadow melts off of yo' eye lids and down yo'

face, foo!

And this will help your eye shadow STAY PUT!

It's like...handcuffs for your eye-shadow...?

Can Urban Decay Primer Potion AKA UDPP do ANY

wrong???

Well, it is pricey, but well worth it.

HOWEVER, with *MY* UDPP once i thought it was

"done" I heeded to the advice of many make-up

guru's on you-tube/interernet and CUT

open my bottle, and scooped out all the product.

I was AMAZED at how much was in there, you see,

the curves of the bottle tend to catch product, that

you can't get out with the applicator.

Urban Decay *the brand* is making a new

applicator that is curved, but I don't think it

is going to help much, in my honest opinion!

SO if you do buy it, cut that sucker open, and place

in an airtight container...it MUST BE AIR TIGHT!

Or your magic potion will dry out :(!

Anything else, Ms. Complainey-Complainer-son?

Yes Actually...I find this works best when you use a

VERY SMALL AMOUNT! Too much product will

result in the potion not drying, and the product

getting clumpy and nasty on your eye lids!

Also, I always put a little moisturizer on before

hand, this product runs a little on the drying side,

so if you have dry lids, be forewarned :)!

So, you love it or what, make up *tee hee* your mind!

I love it, for me, it's worth the trouble of scooping it out,

it really lasts through anything :)

So... I bought this yesterday from Shopper's Drugmart which brought in GOSH cosmetics earlier this winter (i believe!).

It was 17.25 CDN, it's on sale until May 1st, then it goes back up to regular price (23.00 CDN).

I tried it out today, and I really like it! It's similar to Smashbox Photofinish in that they both

contain silicone, and have that slippery feel. I prefer the GOSH one over the Quo primer I

have been using lately (also a silicone). GOSH primer made my skin a lot smoother, and

my foundation seemed to glide over it, which i loved!

Many people don't "get" why primer's are necessary, but I really think they help if you

are looking for longer wear in regards to your make-up! It's a line of defence against the

oil in your skin that causes make-up to fade, slide, or crease! So far, so gooooood!
