I think I am in love..wait! Hold on a second, wait for it...Yep. Yep it's love. I love purple, this is no secret.

I'm not ashamed nor am I embarassed, why should I be? My passion dates back to my Barney watching days..I knew there was a reason I was drawn to that big purple dino....ANYWAY!

This is just a quick post about my NEW NP-BFF (nail polish bff). It is also from Forever 21, for $3.80 applies lovely, and is much longer lasting than the nude polish I just wrote about... I feel like I have lost around 2-3 hours of life just looking at how amazeballs it is. Check it!

Soak it in, y'all. Just take a minute and absorb the purple deliciousness of L.A Girl's Nail Polish in "Dark Purple" which applies gorgeous after two coats, has tons of glitter, and is...Oh, how you say, FABOOSH!

So...I realize that "NUDE LA GIRLS" is a wee bit misleading...FYI this is about nail polish...just to avoid disappointment! OH and in more exciting news, this post got deleted, when my internet explorer thought it would be a good idea to, oh, I don't know, open over 100 windows causing my laptop to implode...Yeah. No biggie.

Where to Buy: I bought my L.A girl Nail Polish at Forever 21, it was in the jewellery section! I have NO idea how my attention averted away from the shiny sparkly costume jewels, but it did..and in that 10 second time frame, I found these! The colour range is limited, but comes in some fun trendy shades!

Colour: "Nude" is a beige, creme formula Application: Thin brush, not at all like the OPI Pro wide brush (so if you like those, be forewarned) smooth application, required 2 coats for decent coverage Price: $3.80 CDN at Forever 21 (deal or WHAT!?)

Pros: Great creme colour, neutral, amazing for work, school, goes with every outfit! And...super cheap!

Cons: I find light or nude polish tends to chip more easily than darker polishes, not sure why, perhaps my nails are just unruly! But if I was careful, it would have lasted longer (not to self--do not open jars, cans, or any metal container within the hour of painting one's nails)

I apologize for the poor pictures..there has been little to no sunlight where I live (what kind of SUMMER is this...)

NYX-- "Techno" polish is a ravishing purple with shimmer to it-- I picked it up for $6.99 CDN and the application was a breeze (good nail polish for cheap? yes please. Oh-- it's purple? super yes please!)

I apologize for the cuticle slop-fest-- dunno what happened there, but you get the idea!

NYX really hit the nail on the head with this one..

This in-between weather really has me wishing it was summer *ahaha* (it's funny

because that's my name...) So in lieu of this off-weather we have been having,

I decided some bright nails would help me through my brutal study sessions!

They haven't really, but, they are really fun, nonetheless!

I am the kind of person who is comletely inept when it comes to doing my nails.

I usually end up cursing and removing them, going through that cycle about 5 times,

and then giving up entirely. At first I thought it was because of the nail polish I was using.

I mean, for 2$ I usually wasn't expecting a miracle...but I tried OPI, Zoya, EVERYTHING

I could get my hands on get ON my hands! But nope. I ended up with smudges, indents, streaks

and polish ALL over my cuticles...What a mess.

Enter in NYX Mango Cafe. The first ever nail polish to NOT leave me screaming out of anger,

but with glee! Yep. Just like Christmas, y'all! This polish dried fast, didn't apply streaking, and

has a nice creme/jelly finish like the Zoya polishes!

LOVE this stuff. With Sally Hansen Insta-Dri topcoat (the red one) It's a match made in heaven!
