Hello world! From the makers of Joe Boxer--comes JOE FRESH!....

Okay I'm kidding--but do you remember the Joe Boxer commercials? with the happy cute guy dancing around?...*starts to shift uncomfortably* just me, then!?

Moving On.... Joe Mimran (think Alfred Sung, Club Monaco...designer extraordinaire!!!!) is the master mind behind Joe Fresh Cosmetics, which were released in Loblaw's Superstores and Fortino's after the success of Joe Fresh Style (accessories, clothing, etc).

The entire line is priced anywhere from 4-8$ for the cosmetics (brushes go up to 14$ though!)(crazy right?!) and comes in clean, modern clear or white plastic packaging. The line also includes the following items:

I picked up a lipstain in "Candy" today, because I simply could not refrain from trying out some Joe Fresh Goodies... only downside is at MY Fortino's location, the Joe Fresh stand is right up at the front-- no privacy to look at all the pretty colours, because my makeup addiction is displayed for all-the-neighborhood to see..*sigh*

Anyway, that didn't stop me, no it did not!

Candy is in a hot pink tube, but it's not hot pink at all, it's like a deep pinky-purple colour on me, and applies JUST like a felt-tip marker!

*TIP* As with all stains--it WILL grab on to dead skin/dry skin, so make sure you exfoliate those puckers, and slap on some balm ahead of time :) Here is the stain in "Candy" AND a gorgeous Wet'N'Wild Lipgloss in "Candy Apple" that I got for $2.86 at Wal-Mart!

Now for the lipstain...

Those are my lips...nekkid. Dang, I always thought I was better than posting nude pictures for all the world to see---FOR SHAME! But I wanted you to see the change with the stain, because everyone's lips react with shades differently :)

Joe Fresh gets Wet'n'Wild with a Candy Apple???-- Not quite, but this *IS* the 'Candy' lipstain with that "Candy Apple" lip gloss on top! I loved the combination especially because the gloss doesn't give lips that dry look that can happen with stains!

How Much for this "candy-candy apple" fun summer lip look?!

Why..just under 9$ CDN! Perfect for summer time, day time, any time! I found the wear to be comfortable--expect to reapply though! All in all, great product, for SO CHEAP! Also, i know Cover Girl has lip-stain markers, but I haven't tried those yet...I will update if I do, but for now, these are totally worth it!
